Deuteronomy 4:40

KJV—Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes,
and his commandments, which I command
thee this day, that it may go well with thee,
and with thy children after thee, and that thou
mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which
the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.

AMP—You shall keep His statutes and His
commandments, which I command you this
day, that it may go well with you and your
children after you and that you may prolong
your days in the land which the Lord your
God gives you forever.

Moffatt—You must obey his rules and orders
which I command you this day, that all may go
well with you and with your children after you,
and that you may live long on the land which
the Eternal your God assigns you.

NIV—Keep his decrees and commands, which
I am giving you today, so that it may go well
with you and your children after you and that
you may live long in the land the Lord your
God gives you for all time.

Deuteronomy 7:9

KJV—Know therefore that the Lord thy God,
he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth
covenant and mercy with them that love him
and keep his commandments to a thousand
generations.

AMP—Know, recognize and understand
therefore that the Lord your God, He is God,
the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and
steadfast love and mercy with those who
love Him and keep His commandments, to a
thousand generations.

Moffatt—Understand, then, that the Eternal
your God is God indeed, a faithful God who
carries out his compact of kindness to those
who love him and carry out his orders, for a
thousand generations.

NIV—Know therefore that the Lord your God
is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his
covenant of love to a thousand generations of
those who love him and keep his commands.

Deuteronomy 12:28
KJV—Observe and hear all these words which
I command thee, that it may go well with thee,
and with thy children after thee for ever, when
thou doest that which is good and right in the
sight of the Lord thy God.

AMP—Be watchful and obey all these words
which I command you, that it may go well with
you and with your children after you forever,
when you do what is good and right in the
sight of the Lord your God.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20
KJV—I call heaven and earth to record this
day against you, that I have set before you
life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore
choose life, that both thou and thy seed may
live: That thou mayest love the Lord thy God,
and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that
thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life,
and the length of thy days: that thou mayest
dwell in the land which the Lord sware unto
thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob,
to give them.

Psalm 37:25
NKJV—I have been young, and now am old;
yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor
his descendants begging bread.
